2015 Scholarship Winners

Scholarships are awarded only to graduating high school students living in Orange County, CA for academic excellence, outstanding community service, need and school and community leadership. Applicants are interviewed by a committee of We Give Thanks Directors. This year we awarded the largest scholarship amount in We Give Thanks history.

Why do I volunteer?

“I volunteer to show my Key Club no matter what leadership position someone is in, there is always an obligation to live life of service and making a positive difference. Volunteering shows me what it means to be compassionate, caring, motivated, steadfast and determined”.

Why do I volunteer?

“Throughout my years, I fell in love with service and the difference I made in the community. It drove me to pursue service projects and teach members their own meaning of service. To make them realize the impact that they were making in their community and volunteering was the solution to that. Volunteering was my paradise from family and the paradise to making other’s happy”.
